Mike is a father of two elastic boys, and a husband. When Mike isn't working, he's constantly in search of the next auto restoration project, and sometimes even works on the current one.

Mike received his B.A. in visual-journalism from Brooks Institute of Photography in Ventura, Calif. Mike has been a staff photojournalist and wedding photographer for 12 years, traveling all over the country. Mike's been a staff photographer for the Pulitzer Prize winning Topeka Capital-Journal, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, and was a regular contributor to the Chicago Tribune. Mike's had photos published in the Time Magazine, New York Times, Washington Post, GEO Magazine, and several other publications. Currently a staff photographer at the Dubuque Telegraph Herald he's the cover photographer for Her Magazine and DBQ Magazine. Mike shoots weddings all over the US and dabbles in automotive journalism.
